How To Test An Oven Temperature Sensor

If your range or oven is not heating properly you should check the oven temperature sensor to see if it is good or bad. When the oven temperature sensor fails it can cause the oven to not heat to the set temperature or display and error code relating to the temperature sensor. Repair & Advice
Use a pencil to shove between the wires behind the oven connector piece (white plastic piece). This is insurance in case you lose grip on it before securing the replacement piece to it. You won't be happy if it slips back down through the hole on the back of the oven and you have to open the back to get it.

All it needed was a new temperature sender only had to remove two screws pull the line out disconnect and attach the new one to replace screws. Works great!
