I have a 24500 btu ac running a walkin cooler with a coolbot pro unit. Ran perfectly for over a year and then started freezing up. Diagnosed as relay on main control board with tech help through chat.

AC unit would freeze up completely. When this happens we have found it to be the relay on this control board. Same on other LG units we have.

Repair & Advice
This is probably one of the easiest repairs you can do as it’s a simple remove and replace. The key part is to make sure you get the right board since Lg had a mid cycle change in the 2516er. As long as you can slide the unit out of the sleeve this is a 5 minute repair. If you can’t pull the unit, I’m not sure how you would be able to access this board as it’s in the top right corner and inside a housing.
