Problem
Impeller bearing was going out and making a very load howling noise.

Repair & Advice
Unplugged power cord, disconnected the water lines & drain hose, gently laid washer down on the left side. Removed one screw from the bottom, removed both hose clamps by hand, removed both hoses and wire assembly. Very simple to remove drain pump.
Twisted housing clockwise approx 15 degrees to separate from motor/impeller unit, re-installed housing with new o-ring onto new motor/impeller unit & reinstalled drain pump assembly into washer. Complete job 30 mins, very easy.
