Important Note

This broiler heating element often varies by the version number of range. Older versions often use part # DG47-00055A (this part is No Longer Available) which the middle loop of the element is about half of the width of part number DG47-00045A. Please make sure that you are ordering the correct part. Some customers have left us feedback saying they ordered part number DG47-00045A and broiler heating bracket part # DG94-00218C to use the newer style element in place of the older style element. Unfortunately, we do not have any way to verify this, so please do so at your own discretion.

My appliance apparently had two different models. A aa01 and a aa02 so turns out mines was the discontinued model aa01 so I ordered from aa02 and my bracket to hold it was small when i received it so i took a chance to order the bracket from aa02 to change it and it fit perfect! So I was able to fix my problem yay!

I just want to say Parts Dr is a fantastic company to work with. My original package arrived completely bent due to FEDEX, not Parts Dr and when I reached out to their customer service, there replies were prompt and they are sending me a replacement part at no cost, and they are filing the claim with FEDEX. So nice to have a company that still understands the value of customer service. I'll be using Parts Dr for any and all future appliance parts that I need. As far as replacing the heating element, it's very straight forward. Just pay attention as you take the old one out and install the new one in the reverse order. Always remember to unplug your appliance before doing any work on it.
