Problem
My Samsung Dishwasher gave the error code that it could not fill.
Tools
Used basic wrench, screwdriver, patience.
Repair & Advice
Ours was easy to see/determine - once we looked at the valve, it was crusted coming out the front and so I figured it was gummed up on the inside as well. We have owned the dishwasher for only 15 months. I hear that there may be more gremlins waiting for me on this specific model as well. Can't wait. At least Parts dr. will have my back.

Problem
Washer gave an error that it was not getting water.
Tools
Screwdriver and needle nose pliers.
Repair & Advice
The error said that the washer was not getting water so the first thing I did was to make sure the line was not clogged. Next I checked the voltage on the valve to see if it was the valve or the control board. You will only see around 2 1/2 volts ac even though the valve runs on 120vac because it switches so fast. I have ordered from partsdr.com before so it was a no brainer to order from again. My part was in stock so I ordered it with priority shipping that should take 2 to 3 days. I was shocked to see that it was in my mailbox the next day!

Problem
Washer would not drain - pump ran, but did not start cycle
Tools
Screwdrivers, long chain nose pliers, adjustable wrenches, Teflon tape
Repair & Advice
Followed the instructional video at appliance video.com. Difficulty was due to poor condition and arthritis on my part. Plus I should have had a long chain nose pliers but had to make do. Wife is happy I got this done for only the cost of parts.
