Problem
washer ran through cycles but would not clean dishes
Tools
small crescent wrench, Philips screw driver, hex wrench
Repair & Advice
After discovering a replacement machine would start in the 500 dollar range and up, I decided to troubleshoot the unit to see if it could be repaired. After reading several internet articles I zeroed in on the circulating pump which seems to be the heart of the machine. I removed the pump (2 screws) and tested it; found it to be bad (motor grounded). Searches online found the best replacement at PartsDr. Although this repair required removing the machine from its undercounter location then reinstalling it after pump replacement, the total cost was less than 200 dollars and the machine is working like new.

Problem
Dishwasher would not spray during cleaning cycles
Tools
Screw driver, Drill, Drill driver bit set, Adjustable wrench, Electrical tape.
Repair & Advice
Unfortunately need to completely remove the dishwasher completely from under the counter with all connections disconnected. Turned the breaker off first. I disconnected the inner sprayer components first which is easy. Plastic retention ring unscrews and then theirs just 3 Phillips head screws. Unscrewed tip over screws at counter. Disconnected wiring. Disconnected supply and drain lines. Slid dishwasher out and flipped on side to access bottom. Removed retention tab and screws. I think screws were hex head if I recall properly. Removed pump and replaced. Then put all back together. Put new electrical tape on my wire connections. Hardest part was working in the area under the unit in the tight area disconnecting everything. Otherwise easy to do with multiple tutorial videos on YouTube.
