Problem
Washer was throwing a code that led us to believe that this part was going out.
Tools
Screwdriver and a you tube video!
Repair & Advice
Called a repair man who wanted $100 just to come out and diagnose the problem. So I figured I’d spend the $20 and try myself first. Easy to replace and two weeks later my washer is running like a champ! Washer was throwing a code so I looked it up on the internet which suggested a clog in a drain or this sensor going out. I did have a clogged line I cleared and the washer worked through a couple loads before throwing the PE code again. So I replaced this part and haven’t seen the code pop up again.
