Problem
Compressor will not come on and stay on.

I replaced the capacitor with a new one from Parts Dr. Sadly it did not fix the problem, but worth a try. My 2 year old Frigidaire chest freezer is a lemon. Frigidaire told me with out know ing what was wrong or looking at the freezer that is was un-reparable....and they would give 40% off a new one, but that was a scam too. I'll purchase a new freezer that is not a Electrolux / Frigidaire.
