Repair & Advice
Looked up the correct part from Partsdr.com. Ordered the part. Received the part. Went online and found Youtube video on how to replace an LG Dishwasher Heating element.
Followed it step by step. It began with: Turned power off. Turned water off to dishwasher.
Disconnected water line and drained in a pot. Removed toe plate. Removed protective power line cover box cover and disconnect power line. Unscrewed dishwasher from side cabinets and unscrewed mounting brackets on top (underneath counter). Lowered adjustable glides to lower height of dishwasher. Pulled dishwasher out from inside surrounding cabinet and laid on its side. Disconnected wires to heating element from underneath dishwasher. Unscrewed heating element and used a flat head screwdriver to pry it out (it has a rubber gasket to keep it snug and nearly impossible to pull out by hand until it is slightly pryed out). Replaced with new heating element. Reattached heating element securely with screws. Hooked back up wires to new heating element. Turned dishwasher back right side up and slid back into cabinet space for dishwasher. Readjusted glides to correct height and leveled. Reattached side screws to cabinet and reattached mounting brackets to top of cabinet. Reconnected power lines. Reattached power line cover box cover (to protect power wires). Reconnected water line. Turned water back on. Turned back on power. Ran a cycle to check for leaks (if any). Done. This was kind of difficult at first - but only because I had never done it before and wasn't sure of myself. Now that I have done it, I could safely say this was easy to do. And because I was following a video step by step, it took longer than what a more experienced person would take I'm sure. It took me about 1 1/2 hours. For someone skilled, probably 30 to 45 min.

Repair & Advice
Followed Video Procedures. Original element was a bit difficult to remove and had to file the right & left edges of the new element to fit into the opening.
