Error Code 3

Originally the repairman came and replaced the solenoid door glide but 2 weeks later error code 3 occurred again. When the repairman returned he said it was the control panel not working now. Because of the PartsDr video on YouTube I knew how to replace the control myself and the part was half the cost on the repair Dr website. I would suggest taking a picture of how the wires are on your control panel board before disassembling fo ensure they get hooked up against. The hardest part about this was getting the lid back on the dryer as mine is not completely level and it shifted when the top was off. I needed a second set of hands to hold the dryer together while I put the lid back on.

We googled our dryer brand and what it was doing. The issue was the sensor. Googled how to install it and where to buy it. It was worth a try, cheaper than buying a new dryer. We watched the 4 minute video again and followed along as he installed the new sensor. It took us maybe 10 minutes start to finish and the dryer is fixed!!
