The GE washer this software update was supposed to fix was not spinning out loads about 30% of the time. On line, this software update was touted as one of the ways to fix this. It didn't work. The washer continues to not spin out and seems to be getting worse. GE Model GTW 460ASJ4WW is less than 2 years old and basically junk now. Low star rating only because it didn't fix my problem, it may be good for other issues. My advice, never buy GE, many horror stories on line about these machines.

No tools needed.
Repair & Advice
Hooked up module following each step in the instructions. Everything went as described during the 6 minutes it took for the module to make its updates. Results are GE washer still doing the same as before. No improvement.
