Problem
Err f96 on the front of a GE Oven
Tools
Phillips Screwdriver and 1/4 socket with driver
Repair & Advice
I'll never purchase a GE appliance again. I own a matched set and in less than 2 years I've had problems with the microwave, the stove and the fridge. Once I was able to get the oven removed the repair wasn't too bad. Just a LOT of little screws. Took it all apart, put it back together and it was all good! It's not hard it's just tedious. Removing the wall oven was by far the hardest part to figure out. For mine it was just 4 screws holding it in then I slid it out (with help) and set it on the floor. Started removing sheet metal, replaced the fan, tested, put sheet metal back on, slid back in and done.

Problem
Humming noise and oven would overheat and turn off
Tools
1/4" nutdriver and ratchet, phillips screwdriver
Repair & Advice
Poor design, I'm a mechanical engineer and whoever located two of the mounting screws for the fan bracket where they did should be beaten upside the head. You sent an OEM GE part at less than 50% the cost of other parts places, great job!
