Problem
GE gas cooktop knobs are plastic with a thin covering of stainless (or some stainless-looking metal). As such, using the center high power burner on my stove at full power melted the three knobs nearest the burner.
Tools
None needed, knobs pull off end on.
Repair & Advice
Priced Almost 50% lower than GE

Burned off the finish on 4 knobs by accidentally placing a hot pan on them

Repair & Advice
As the title says, I accidentally placed a hot cookie sheet on the burner knobs of my GE stove. The heat burned the finish off four of them, leaving the white plastic underneath. I ordered replacement knobs from Parts Dr. and they arrived extremely quickly. The replacement took about 3 minutes and the parts are perfect OEM replacements. I'm extremely satisfied with the part quality, cost, and speed of delivery.
