I was getting a LF code on my Maytag Washer and the water was just trickling in.

Simple repair swapped out the valve and the washer is good as new.

Hot water not being accepted into Maytag Washer

Checked to insure that the hot water supply was working, then started to check washer. I got stuck trying to figure out how to get into the washer, so I paid JustAnswers.com $15 for some expert advice. They told me to use a putty knife under the console to release a spring (very difficult to figure out how. I also discovered a screw head blocking the spring that I had to work putty knife over). He gave me exact part number to order. I ordered it from Parts Doctor, and it was delivered the next day. I installed it in a few minutes. Total time from my wife's complaint to the fix was 36 hours. Happy wife: happy life.
