Repair & Advice
I realized our washer wasn't actually WASHING our clothes....the cycles sounded like they were working normally, but the gears inside the wash plate were stripped and it was not agitating. The manufacturer said this part was out of stock and they estimated it would be a month before they could ship the part to me. Parts Dr had it in stock, at a substantially better price. I had the part within 4 days- popped it right in the washer and its working just great!

Repair & Advice
Our Maytag Bravo would not agitate. After watching many you tube videos, I deemed it one of two possible problems. The wash plate turned out to be the issue. The price at Parts Dr was the best I’ve found. It arrived quickly and after we got it on, it worked perfectly!

Problem
Washer would not agitate
Tools
Flat head screwdriver and a ratchet set
Repair & Advice
Washing machine was making a weird noise during wash cycle, did some research online to find out the agitator might not be working and that it was a common where out point. Reach down and it spun freely which it should not do need a screwdriver to pop the cap off and a ratchet to undo the one bolt holding it on and I found out the splines were stripped. Very easy part to replace. Quick ship with a Very competitive price.
