This appliance is located in my vacation rental cabin in UT. I get groups up to 30 ppl and this group was particularly piggy. They somehow got water INSIDE the door of my dishwasher. The control board was toast. I ordered a new one from Parts DR and it showed up on time and worked perfect. Carissa helped me get through the search problems (there wasnt a diagram, she had to send one to me) then I just pointed at the part.

Problem
Dishwasher water pump not starting, sound control area venting duct seal was misplaced in manufacture. This allowed Steam to vent into the control panel area and caused the control board relay to fail. Once replaced everything worked as before

Only simple hand tools were necessary, screwdrivers and needle nose pliers we're all that were necessary
Repair & Advice
Diagnostics are always the hardest part I'm fixing a problem especially when you are not familiar with that particular Appliance. I have worked on many appliances cars boats Etc but never a dishwasher. After pulling it out from under the counter it was much simpler than I thought. Never be afraid to try Kama if it doesn't work now you can hardly make it worse!
