Problem
Detergent cup wound open and dispense during the first fill of the cycle. Power remained to the dispenser throughout the cycle.
Tools
Torx bit screwdriver, small flat blade screw driver, flashlight.
Repair & Advice
I turned off the power to the dishwasher,, opened door fully, removed 12 torx screws holding the front cover to the door. Outside door slides slightly down toward dishwasher to remove from the door. The control board is grey snd is located in upper right corner of the door. There is a small grey cover at the bottom of the control board that covers the wiring connectors. Carefully remove that small cover using a small screwdriver to release clips. It will tilt down and off. Then start removing cables. I took a picture of the connections to remember their order. There are at least 6 separate connections with some being larger wires and several very small wires. There is also a small ribbon style connector at the top right that connects to the touch panel. I only disconnected that from the control board and left it connected to the panel.
After all wires are disconnected the gray control board will need to slide left to remove. However there is a small release clip at the top that you need a small screwdriver to reach in and push while you slide the board left. That should let you remove it
Them just reassemble in the reverse order making sure to put things back correctly. There are words on the board for color connections of the wires to help
you.

Repair & Advice
Control board went out and and burns the harness up as well. This is easy to repair even if you have never worked on a dishwasher before. Harness is plug and play as well as it is for the control board and one screw.
