Repair & Advice
After replacing a literally fried control module, I still had no power. Checked the Thermal Cut-Off switch and found it was open. Ordered replacement part, which came faster than indicated when I placed the order- :-); removed the dishwasher door, removed the old part and installed the new one. The existing wires and connectors were not damaged so I removed them from the original part and attached them to the new part (I didn't need the connector and wires provided with the replacement, but it was nice to have them as a backup had my connections been damaged). In two minutes I was reinstalling the door panel. It takes far longer to remove and replace the door panel than to replace the part, even when using a power drill.

Repair & Advice
Thanks to partsdr for help guiding me to the thermal fuse as a potential problem. Also their schematic helped me find the location of the part in the dishwasher. Use the Internet and do a little research on the part and make and model of your unit. Check and see how common the issue is.
I used a volt meter and checked between the two ends to see if I had continuity. Since I did not it seemed the thermal fuse was blown and I went ahead and ordered the part. Got the new fuse and followed the directions. Very straight forward instructions.
