Repair & Advice
LG washer dryer COMBO is difficult to find replacement instructions for. Drain pump assembly is on bottom right instead of left, after removing the 2 screws in there the whole bottom Front panel lifts Up and off without removing drain pump assembly cover separately.
The other difference from regular lg washers is the door gasket is also locked in place by the opening for the dryer at the top and that needs to be disconnected from the bottom 2 screws to remove and replace. The inner spring will not come off until that top part is disconnected, even though it appears you can loosen the metal bracket around it and slip off.

Repair & Advice
This was my first time trying to replace the door seal. Once I figured out how to place it on the machine, it was easier.

Problem
I noticed the old Gasket was cracked and dry near the top. Probably caused by not taking the machine apart to clean the lint out in a while, and thus air not circulating properly.
Tools
Pliers, socket wrench set, screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
YouTube how to videos, but a tip that I did not find there: It was very very difficult to get the wires that hold the gasket on over the rim. I ultimately used zip ties to (a) hold the wire in place so if I missed the connecting the hook, they wouldn't spring away and (b) act as a pulley system to help me need less force to connect the hooks on the wire. (Tightening the zip requires half the force as simply pulling the spring).
In my machine, the inner rim's wire could unhook entirely, so the zip tie method was straightforward. Just connect the zip tie to the obvious two "hold me here" loops on the wire/spring, and tighten the zip tie until the spring is stretched enough that you can hook the spring to the other end of the wire.
The outer rim's wire did not detach, so it was always a continuous loop. So one needs to pull spring to lengthen the circumference of the circle made by the wire/spring. Here you have to be creative. I was able to craft a duel zip-tie pulley system to stretch the spring using a hefty slotted wooden spoon that was longer than the spring. (I know that sounds crazy.)
Taking the machine apart was fast and easy. Getting this gasket/wire on was difficult and frustrating until I invented this technique. That took the majority of the time. Rating "Kinda Difficult" for that reason. If I were to do this again, it would be very easy and probably take 45 min. I tried bike tire levers and other tools and techniques I googled for, no avail. Good luck!
