Ice buildup in bottom of freezer

a screwdriver to disassemble the door

the gasket was very easy to install, except for the door. One of the screws had been stripped (not the manufacturer of the gasket's fault). Once the door was apart, it was very easy to install and the problem appears to have been resolved.

The freezer section of the Samsung refrigerator leaked, constantly

My son put the gasket on the door and as far as I understand, he did not use any tools

The refrigerator, has leaked for sometime. The various people I hired to fix the problem were never able to stop the leak. Over time it built up a large ice sheet under the drawer. My son was able to determine that the gasket was not fitting correctly and also found the sheet of ice. The new gasket has helped the leak, but it appears that the door doesn't shut correctly. That has nothing to do with the gasket, but everything to do with the construction of the refrigerator.
