Problem
Fridge would not cool
Tools
Screwdriver or drill avoid using drill to tighten fasners as it may over torque and break plastic parts.
Repair & Advice
Freezer worked with no problem, but fridge no longer would cool below 58°. Noticed ice build up behind evaporator cover after hearing a loud noise coming from the evaporator fan. Fan stoped working which led to ice build up. Simply removed the evaporator cover assembly with simple hand tools and replaced the evaporator assembly. Very straightforward. Fridge now works as it did.

Problem
Due to multiple freeze-ups and repairs they Styrofoam insulation was beaten up and worn.
Tools
Screwdriver and in my case a soldering iron and heat gun for heat shrink.
Repair & Advice
Due to multiple freeze-ups and repairs they Styrofoam insulation was beaten up and worn. Decided to replace the entire panel to ensure proper operation of the refrigerator. The power plugins were not exact so utilizing a weatherproof heat shrink, I swapped the connectors from the new unit with the old one. Soldering each connection together to ensure a good electrical connection prior to heat shrinking.

Problem
Evaporator coils in the refrigerator on my Samsung RF266ABPN refrigerator kept freezing up. I had to take off the evaporator cover and defrost the coils every six months.
Tools
Screwdriver and heat gun.
Repair & Advice
I took off the old evaporator cover and put on the new one. The new cover has a new defrost sensor in it that is causing my problems.
