The Pump and Motor assembly supplied under warranty was faulty, and leaked badly. The solution was to replace it with a new one at my cost. However, although the replacement assembly did not leak, it threw an error code indicating that there was a problem with diversion of the water to the different levels of the machine. The latter problem narrowed down to a missing cam on the diverter motor shaft, resulting in the microswitch not being activated properly as the shaft rotated. I fixed the problem by cannibalizing the cam from the original assembly supplied under warranty, since the cam itself is not available as a separate part. I took the opportunity to examine the original Pump and Motor assembly supplied under warranty, and was able to fix it by merely tightening up some screws. the actual motor had been loose in the assembly, undoubtedly leading to the leakage of water. I now have a repaired machine, which is tested to work properly. My conclusions from this experience are that both replacement assemblies were badly assembled in the factory, which bespeaks low quality control.

This was a pretty easy repair. Removed the dishwasher, removed the existing assembly, popped in the new assembly and all was good.
