Problem
Water inlet valve stopped working, and my icemaker was just letting water flow through it. Filled my ice cube bucket, flowed into the freezer, and then all over my kitchen floor.
Tools
Phillips screwdriver
Repair & Advice
I'm not particularly handy, but this was an easy fix. The hardest part was finding the shutoff valve for the water line to my icemaker. Most of the repair time was spent taking the cover off the back of the fridge (easily removed by taking out about 8 screws).

Repair & Advice
Repair was easy process. Turn off water supply to ice maker, loosen screw holding valve to fridge, remove valve, disconnect water line coming in, disconnect water line going to ice maker. Reverse the process to install along with cutting off about 1/2” of clear line going to ice maker and you are done.
