Repair & Advice
I loosened the screws around the inside door panel, but I did not remove...I just wanted to make a gap that I could put the gasket's edge into. I then worked the gasket around the door using a plastic carpet edge tool at times to help me persuade the gasket where needed. Be patient, this can be a little time consuming. Once the gasket was on, I tightened the loose screws back. Upon closing the door the gasket needed to be worked back into shape. I tried this some with the gasket before I installed it, but using the hair dryer to heat the gasket and then the plastic carpet tool to prod/stretch, I was able to get the gasket back into shape for a good seal.
