Motor would not start, shaft seized.

About 15 screws need to be removed to access motor, the hardest part of job is removing the dishwasher from under cabinets. Original LG motor fit exactly and worked perfectly.

Excessive loud noise.

Repair & Advice
Disconnect electrical, shut off water, remove racks & sprayer Remove screws for access top of the motor. The hardest part was removing the dishwasher from under cabinet (very tight fit) to access the bottom of the dishwasher to access the motor. Original LG motor fit exactly and solved the problem. Don't overtighten screws when reinstalling filter assembly.
