Problem
Refrigerator would not cool, but freezer was cold.
Tools
Nutdriver, small flat screwdriver, voltmeter.
Repair & Advice
Refrigerator compartment not cold enough. Freezer ok. Noticed Evaporator fan in freezer slowing down and sometimes stopping. (Should be running when compressor is on. Removed freezer compartment rear cover with fan, unplugged fan, used voltmeter to ensure 120vac or at least the same as wall outlet voltage at plug that goes to fan. Unplug cord from wall until ready to check voltage for safety. Had correct voltage all the time, so fan was bad. (Only 1-1/2 years old).( Note: Sometimes fan won't stop, but it will be turning too slow)
