Problem
The door boot had bad mold stains
Tools
Phillips screwdriver, pliers, shims
Repair & Advice
The only difficult part was re-installing the inner retaining spring. I started at the top, wedged some shims (typical wood shims used for setting windows/doors) to hold that in place, used a thin, wide stick at the bottom to guide the spring into place, then worked around either side from the top to the bottom.
Installation usually takes me longer because any time I take an appliance apart, I take the opportunity to thoroughly clean as much as I can -- vacuum out the cabinet, disassemble and clean the soap tray, etc., -- and inspect for other problems.
