Repair & Advice
My wife informed me, after running the dishwasher, that the dishes were not cleaned and very little water was coming into the dishwasher. After a quick diagnosis I determined the circulation pump was bad. I researched the part number and contacted Parts Dr. They sent out exactly what I needed within two days and I inspected the new pump/motor. Upon checking the motor I noticed the motor shaft appeared to be sticking in one area. I installed the part and when I powered the dishwasher on, the motor just hummed and did not spin freely. I contacted Parts Dr. and submitted a “defective part” survey on their website. Within 30 minutes I had a reply from them informing me a new part was being sent to me. Note that this was at approximately 3:30 pm EST. and that I would receive the new part within two days. At 8:15 am the next day FedEx delivered the new part. I installed the new pump/ motor and the 15 year old Bosch is running like new. I can’t say enough how impressed I am with Parts Dr. Customer Service. A fantastic company to deal with.
