Problem
Refrigerator warm, freezer cold but no fan noise.
Tools
Screwdrivers, nut drivers and multi meter
Repair & Advice
I knew the compressor was good as soon as I rolled it out so logic dictated either the fan motor was bad (by far the most likely problem) or a control circuit was out. I Googled the problem and many how to responses came up. After removing the fan and unplugging I plugged the unit in and found voltage at the plug so that confirmed it. Remember it is a variable speed DC motor so a resistance check through the motor will NOT work. If you have a logical mind and are not afraid to take things apart it isn't that difficult.

Repair & Advice
First of all, I've never done any such repairs before. Called a repair technician but it took him a few days to respond. He had no idea when he was going to get to my apartment. So I did some research on the issue online and the suggestion was to replace the evaporator motor. I then checked Youtube for videos on the location and steps to remove and replace the evaporator motor. Found a video for exact make and model of my refrigerator. Played back the video, pausing when needed, and followed the step by step instructions on removing the components and eventually replacing the motor. If you can handle a screw drive and follow basic instruction, then you can replace the evap motor...well at least on my model.
