Problem
Refrigerator leaking water
Tools
Phillips screw driver
Repair & Advice
To look for the leak I removed the lower shelves and the housing over the evaporator coils, that is when I discovered that the drain trough below the cooling coils had rusted through allowing the condensation from the coils to leak and drain to the bottom of the refrigerator. I removed the rusted tough and replaced it with the new #WR17X11843 Drain Trough Assembly supplied.
NOTE OF CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE SMALL CIRCULATING FAN MOUNTED TO THE HOUSING IS FIRMLY PLUGGED IN WHEN REPLACING THE HOUSING.
