Problem
My vintage Amana electric range briefly became an arc welder once the original broiler element eventually disintegrated. Fortunately all it needed was a replacement element from PartsDr.
Tools
Flashlight and screwdriver (all repairs possible from within the oven).
Repair & Advice
The element was easy to remove, but I used a couple of clothes pins to prevent the connector leads from falling back into the rear panel's insulation (no need to remove the rear panel to access the element).
Replacing it with the new element took longer, but within minutes I had a restored electric range (once the oils on the new element burned off--be ready to ventilate the smoke!).
BTW, a GREAT bargain and ultra-fast shipping. Hard to believe the ink on the shipping label wasn't still wet. . . .

Repair & Advice
Got a stove for free that had a burner not working and broiler element. Mine had a broken glass cooktop. Took my burner and replaced not working one on new to me stove. Used your broiler element to fix the other problem now I have almost a brand new stove
