You need to loosen and/or remove more screws along the inside edge of the door than you’d expect: 6 removed, 2-4 more loosened. Slotting in the handle and getting the Control Panel tabs aligned is tricky, but once it all slots into place, just hold door panels together and re-tighten all screws.
