This gasket was easy to install. I heated it using a hand-held heater, similar to a hair dryer, to make it more flexible. At first the gasket didn’t appear to “stick” to the freezer, but within a day or two, the magnets had their intended effect, and now the gasket fits nice and tight all the way around.

Maytag upright freezer was building up ice on the inside - on the bottom

No tools needed. Door gasket fits into a slot around the perimeter of the door
Repair & Advice
Ordered a new gasket that was shipped right away. That gasket sealed worse than the original so I contacted Parts Dr. They immediately shipped a replacement that worked great and fixed the issue.
