It took me a while to go through the troubleshooting, which eventually let me to the timer assembly. My tip is to exhaust the possibilities that the issue isn't with other parts, because this one is not cheap. You really cannot open up the housing for this GE part, so just order the whole timer assembly. The install of the new part is very simple -- remove a few screws along the panel and the one holding this part in place. The wiring harness is straightforward -- a plug with a little clip that needs to be depressed to unlatch it. I would give the part a 5 star rating, although it's only been installed for less than a month.
