Plastic drain connector broke off pump.
Tools
Drill with screw driver bit, alan bit, hacksaw.
Repair & Advice
The part I replaced was poorly constructed with the weak point being the hose connector which split and started leaking water during the drain cycle. The new part has this area reinforced.
I thought it would be a simple matter of unplugging the two hoses and wire and reconnecting the new part. But they have changed the part so it required a lot more work.
I had to remove one of the hoses but the other end wasn't a simple screw down clamp. It was a clip so I had to hacksaw it off.
Then because the wire hookup had changed I had to re-install the new wiring harness to everything include two control boards which meant opening up everything underneath the dishwasher.
Finally they say you have to change the strainer so this involved taking the drain apart inside the tub and screwing a new base on for the basket.

Repair & Advice
This part comes with everything you need, including clamps, the pump itself, new wiring harness, and micro-filter (the round filter). Extra clamps are nice because the factory ones are one time use. Replacing the pump is not difficult, but it does require the new wiring harness. Replacing that harness took the most time, because I had to inspect each of the connections and find where it plugged into. The plugs only fit into the connector where they are supposed to go; for that reason, it is very doable, just time-consuming if this is your first time. The repair was successful, however.
