Problem
GE Adora dishwasher had no power to the display.
Tools
Screwdriver and socket set.
Repair & Advice
The control board was fairly easy to replace. Located beneath the dishwasher on the front. Just a few wire connections to disconnect and a few screws or bolts to remove and you can lower the control board. Once lowered remove the wire connector and remove the control board from tray. Reverse the procedure to install new control board. Took approximately 30 minutes and works fine now.

Problem
Washer had power but would not run when cycle selection was made.
Tools
Phillips screwdriver and flathead screwdriver
Repair & Advice
Removed the kick plate cover and located the circuit board above the electric connection box. A few screws were removed and then the circuit board was simply unplugged. Reversed the process to install new board. ** Remember to kill power to appliance before installing or removing damaged board **. I was able to trouble shoot this problem with the instructions that came with washer and several YouTube videos.

Problem
GE dishwasher turned on and off, randomly and would chime everytime. Eventually, wouldn't light up at all.
Tools
Common sense, especially about safety, UNPLUG FIRST. 1/4", 5/16" nutdrivers and several YouTube videos on How To Do It.
Repair & Advice
Everything is done under the door, and is very crowded. Don't believe the videos that tell you it is a fast repair, the crowded conditions mean you should take your time and keep tools and parts organized. Check the power is unplugged before you start, and each time you return to the task from a break.
To unplug cables, squeeze connectors. Metal edges are uncoined and sharp, and when re-installing board make sure to reach under board and ensure cables, exiting the back of board tray are routed in notches formed in the sheet metal. If not, the uncoined edges will eventually cut the wires.
On the positive side, all the difficulty in this repair lies in finding the correct spare (there are literally hundreds of variants of this board), and the limited access. Providing, of course, you verify power is off before sticking your hands in the machine. If you don't, there will be complications that may involve your next of kin.
