Problem
The old part failed catastrophically. The rubber hose attached to the part degraded and leaked profusely. The leaking tripped the GFCI outlet of the dishwasher.
Tools
Screwdrivers, pliers.
Repair & Advice
Read the instructions provided with the dishwasher to run tests on the dishwasher. Look under the dishwasher when running tests. Make sure the machine is drained and tip over on the back, making the machine much easier to work on. Remove the drip pan to access the part. You do not have to remove the pump to get this part out.
