Broken glass top

Socket driver, needle nose pliers (to aid with burner clips)
Repair & Advice
This job is easier with a helper to hold the top vertical during the process. 1) Disconnect from power. 2) Remove two screws on front edge of top. 3) Tilt top up to access burners, etc. 4) Remove burners etc. from old top. Note how they were arranged so they can be replaced exactly as they ere removed. 5) Remove old top and replace with new top. Re-install burners, etc. on new top. 6) Insert new top into rear hinges, and lower top onto range. 7)Fasten top to range with 2 screws at front edge.

Flat blade screwdriver 1/4" nutdriver, sharpie.
Repair & Advice
Two people make it easier. Take photos of the parts to be changed. mark clips and screw locations with a sharpie. watch youtube video, and it will be a pretty easy repair.

Previous occupants had scrubbed the range top with an abrasive cleaner and damaged the painted rings of the burners. It also was cloudy.
