Problem
The stove top suddenly began to rust in spots but the stove looks like new.
Tools
The only tool required for the install was a star bit to remove the old hardware and add it to the new top.
Repair & Advice
My stove top began to have rust spots. The stove was past the warranty so I ordered a new top instead of purchasing a new stove. The top easily removes for the base without any tools. You just lift and slide off the track. You'll need a star bit to remove the old hardware and place on the top. Once those are added you simply slide in the new top.

Repair & Advice
I replaced the cracked stove top on a gas stove. It really doesn't get any easier.
