Whirlpool Duet Hybrid dryer foam was worn and needed replacing, so I ordered the new replacement part, which does not require Foam insert.

No tools necessary to replace filter.

I highly recommend this part, as I no longer have to attempt to clean a foam insert to keep the dryer functioning properly.

The mesh screen ripped away from the plastic frame because I cleaned it with the vacuum hose which was too harsh for the delicate material.

Not applicable.

Do not use a vacuum cleaner to remove the lint from the filter screen!

Dryer screen wore and tore
