Repair & Advice
Instead of installing the whole harness, I snipped the needed wires from the new harness and made a splice with wire nuts.

Problem
Washer stopped in the middle of a cycle, I smelled electrical burning.
Tools
"Star head" screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
The control board and/or heating element attachment at the control board shorted and and burned to the point of melting that connector and the control board. I ordered replacement parts for these and installed them. The problems are fixed. The parts were exact matches and therefore it was a straight forward process to remove the old ones and install the new ones one wire and connection at a time. Your website and ordering process was great. After waiting a week for my repairman to order the parts a needed, I found them myself on your website for about 80% of what he estimated they would cost through him. After calling to learn his progress and just told him I would take it from there and it all worked out great except for returning the heating element he said I would need but didn't. It would have cost more to return it following you process than the refund value of the element.

Problem
My LG dishwasher's Control Board overheated recently, charring the Wiring Harness in the process.
Tools
Screwdriver or drill with Philips, flathead and Torx bits; needle-nosed pliers; Tongue & Groove (CHANNELLOCK) pliers
Repair & Advice
I replaced the Wiring Harness and Control Board and also dropped in a new Control Panel. I had to uninstall the dishwasher to access the underside's wiring attachment points but the swap itself was very straightforward.
