Problem
Latch would not work
Tools
Specialized tip on screw driver
Repair & Advice
It was fairly easy to take the door apart and install the switch - not so easy to put everything back together. It would have been helpful if I could have looked up a diagram.

Problem
Plastic latch broken on dishwasher.
Tools
Screw driver (Philips Head and Torque Head).
Repair & Advice
Probably didn't need to remove ALL the door screws just to slide in the new latch mechanism...removing only the top few might have been good enough.

Problem
Latch and handle broken, control panel stopped functioning
Tools
Torx type screwdriver, very small flathead screwdriver
Repair & Advice
I had to replace latch, handle and control panel, but will briefly describe latch only. 1. Open door and remove torx screws at the top of the dishwasher door and side screws down the sides. You might be able to loosen the bottom screws of the door out but not have to remove. 2. The panels of the door will come apart. Lift off control panel and unplug it at the door, not middle of harness. Set aside. 3. Take screw out of handle, set aside, then take screw out of latch, remove, replace, and put screw in. If replacing tab at top center of dishwasher, this is a bit tricky. Using a small screwdriver, you can pull the metal tab down so that you are able to slide the tab back a bit and then forward. You have to angle it down and lift before you can pull it out. Slide new tab in, lift and push until it snaps in. 4. Plug control panel back in, place on top, insert screws in corner first. Replace all door screws and tighten snuggly without torquing down.
