Repair & Advice
Remove the existing rubber seal by hand. Replace with new one starting at one corner and working your way around . Gently press the seal into the groove designed to hold it. That’s it.

Repair & Advice
I couldn’t believe a repair could be so simple, but it was worth a try! Much more reasonable than an appliance repairman or a new dishwasher! I easily removed the old gasket ( crusty and yummy but not visible until removed) wiped the channel with a paper towel, then pushed the new gasket in with my fingers. It was the perfect length! I was prepared for a repeat leak..... but the door edges stayed DRY! However, water was dripping from the top edge. Opened the door and removed the cover on the upper door vent.......double yuck! Cleaned it out, restarted cycle and nary a drop of water since. Hope everyone has the same results!!
