Problem
Cracked glass range top
Tools
Phillips Screw driver
Repair & Advice
Remove screws on front top and lift up then out. Old glass top slides out. New one slides right back in. Make sure old gasket is replaced on new top. Replace screws. Slide front down and attach screws. Done.

Problem
Glass top broken
Tools
Screw driver, cleaning cloths with soapy water and grease cutting spray.
Repair & Advice
Really easy to take apart. Just 4 screws. First 2 released the front control panel, which is lifted up and off of it's attaching studs. Let the control panel front tilt forward and rest on it's wire harnesses and base. Then the next 2 screws and remove the holding bracket. Then slide glass cook top to the front and lift off. The rubber boot on the front edge of glass cook top was full of grease and needed cleaning before it could be reinstalled. Also cleaned the other 3 sides at the edges. Take care to not drop any material on the exposed cooking elements. Once the rubber boot is cleaned and placed on new glass cook top you just reverse the process.

Repair & Advice
Very easy to replace, just 2 screws to remove front control panel (remove screws and lift up, then let hang), then two screws at the front of the glass cooktop and lift up and pull forward. Just reverse to install.
