Repair & Advice
Remove toe kick panel. Find float switch in front lower right side below dishwasher . Carefully open little hinged white covers which protect the arm mechanism that connects the float to the electrical switch. Remove leads to switch. Replace switch (no screws). Reconnect wired, and then make sure arm mechanism is free to move up and down

Small amounts of water escaping through the dishwasher float valve onto the floor

Repair & Advice
I looked at several Youtube clips about replacing this switch. I removed the bottom panel by undoing the two plastic screws holding it in . I could get to the switch without removing the front cover of the dishwasher, but it was too difficult and I wound up taking the front cover off. After that, it was a cinch to remove the switch, plug in the new switch and slip it into place. I didn't remove the switch housing as is illustrated in the YouTube clips. It is necessary to look at those clips to see how to get the float stem out of the way.
Getting the front panel back on and seated correctly took two people...one to hold and one to replace the fasteners
