Problem
The plastic interlocking piece on the freezer drawer guide rail broke but to fix it, I had to buy the whole guide rail assembly.
Tools
Only a screw driver.
Repair & Advice
The replacement metal guide rail is a little different from my original one (the LG is 7 years old) so rather than try to figure out if there would be compatibility problems with the freezer drawer I just changed out the broken plastic piece (attached by 3 screws) and that fixed my problem. I would also add the price was the lower than at Sears and LG.

Problem
Small ball bearings broke on rail so drawer was difficult to pull out.
Tools
Flathead screw driver.
Repair & Advice
I found this a somewhat difficult repair. Removal of the old part was pretty simple and even replacing part was easy as it only has three screws. The worst part was getting the drawer out of the LG fridge. Even though the part numbers were exactly the same from the old fridge part number to the new one, there is one difference, on the right side of the track (supposed to be a release tab), the black tab is not the same as the old part making it more difficult to remove drawer. Instructions in the LG fridge book are very limited so trying to figure out in the first place how to take the drawer out and secondly, replacing it was the worse part hence stating "kinda difficult" repair.
