Problem
Dual Burner kept getting too hot-- no matter what setting it was on! We came to the conclusion that the problem was with the control switch, which needed to be replaced..
Tools
Basically all that was needed was a screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
We removed the back plate to access the control switch, and replaced it with a new one.

Problem
Burner would go to the high setting independent of switch position
Tools
Screwdriver
Repair & Advice
Burner would go to high setting regardless of switch position. Like others with this problem, replacing the burner control switch fixed it. Easy repair. The only thing that you could mess up is the wire connection positions. Take a picture before moving the wires, or even better, move them one at a time from the old switch to the new one. Part arrived in 2 days after I ordered it.
