Problem
Whirlpool freezer icing up on the bottom, will not defrost.
Tools
Pliers, Philips Screwdriver, Electrical plug pin extractor tool (optional).
Repair & Advice
Under the Evaporator coil, there is a drain area that has an aluminum lining that covers the drain pan I went to Lowes and purchased a roll of heavy-duty duct tape and repaired all holes in the existing lining and also extended the lining a little in all directions to keep the defrosted water from getting under the lining and refreezing before it has a chance to drain out into the pan, take pictures/ video of your progress disassembly and reassembly you will have no problems.

Problem
Lower half freezing up
Tools
Phillips’s screwdriver, super thin flat screwdriver and cutting pliers
Repair & Advice
Notice half frozen so I disassemble the inside front and I saw the broken wire inside the tube so I did a temporary fix it was very simple to replace the part except to disconnect the end of the wire from the connector that is where I used the super thin screwdriver to dig the end out it took me about half an hour
