None were needed: just dexterity of fingers
Repair & Advice
I replaced the thermostat at the same time I replaced the defrost (heating) element since it is cheap and easy to do. This part took only a couple of minutes to replace once the coils were ice free and the panels removed. A person with average mechanical ability can do this easily. Just follow instruction and pay attention to correct placement.
