Problem
Dryer had small lint fire that burned through the wiring harness.
Tools
Putty knife (plastic), screw driver with he bit, I needed with cutters and splice kit for my dryer.
Repair & Advice
Dryer was making sqeuaking noise so went to replace drum rollers and pulley wheel. After using the putty knife on the front top corners to release the clips so I could lift the lid, and taking the front panel off with two screws and then lifting it up; I notice there had been a lint fire and melted the wires to the wiring harness. Replacing the harness was simple, all connections were clips that easily came off and on. My specific year and model did not have a clue going to the thermostat so I had to cut off the clip on the wiring harness and splice the wires together with butt splices and some heat shrink tubing for extra safety.
